Dr. LaMorgese is currently an associate psychologist after completing her post-doctural residency here at East Valley Counseling Associates. Dr. LaMorgese has had over five years of intensive training in the Family Forensic Psychology and Clinical psychology fields. She obtained her doctorate at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to joining East Valley Counseling Associates, Dr. LaMorgese conducted individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, psychological assessments, learning disorder assessments, and psychodiagnostic assessments at Canyon State Academy and with the Glendale Union High School District.

Dr. LaMorgese has her own child, raised four step-children, and foster-adopted twins. She has rich personal and professional experience dealing with blended families through both marriage and social service systems. Dr. LaMorgese is a certified instructor of the High Conflict Diversion Program, a course designed to help parents learn to parallel parent after a very high conflict divorce; she has been trained through Association of Family Conciliation Courts as a Parent Coordinator; and, She is also trained to administer EMDR for many types of issues in addition to crisis intervention. Dr. LaMorgese believes in a strength-based approach and meeting her clients where they are.
